Warning when making homemade slime

Recently, many health professionals have focused on this viral experiment. Why? Because one of the compounds of the liquid detergent, and therefore also of the slime, is borax (sodium borate). It is an important compound of boron and can be abrasive and allergenic. In addition, the ingestion of borax can be fatal.

Thus, there have been several cases of children with severe hand burns after manipulating slime with borax. A very well known case was the of a mother from Manchester who uploaded on social networks the painful situation in which her baby was after having spent a long time manipulating his slime with borax. This is why, in the next part of this article, we are going to show you how to make slime without borax, so you do not run the risk when doing this fun experiment with your children.
