Vitamins are the essential micronutrients that our bodies need in order for the metabolism to function properly and these are obtained via nutrition. The human body needs vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and several types of vitamin B.

Fruits are vegetables are two kinds of foods that are jam-packed with vitamins. Citrus fruits, for example, are high in vitamin C, while vegetables like carrots contain elevated levels of vitamin A. Some animal origin products like fish and seafood, milk, and eggs contain vitamin D as well.
