The term ‘diet’ is used to refer to weight loss but actually refers to our nutrition habits for a specific time. Through the daily intake of food, we get the chemical compounds that our body needs to perform its functions.

Among the best-known types of diet, very diverse among them, we find the ketogenic diet or keto, bland diet for diarrhea, the Mediterranean, the astringent, the ‘crash’ or the diabetes diet.

A balanced and healthy diet involves eating enough essential nutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and so on) and avoiding consuming foods that are bad for our health, such as those containing refined sugars and unhealthy fats.
